How to Use Hitch Mount Spare Tire Carrier For 2 Inch Hitch in 1-1/4 Inch Hitch
Question:
Do you sell this product ? 1 1/4” tire carrier

There is a way to use a hitch-mounted spare tire carrier in your 1-1/4 inch hitch, though there isn't a carrier that fits that size hitch by itself. Instead, you would need an adapter, so what you can use is the following:
- Curt Trailer Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier # c31006
- Hitch Adapter 1-1/4" to 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver # HTAD
Just keep in mind this will reduce the overall capacity of your hitch by 50 percent. So if your hitch has a tongue weight capacity of 200 lbs, for example, that would be reduced to 100 lbs. Additionally, you will need a pin and clip for both the carrier and the adapter (one for the spare tire carrier to fit the 2" receiver and the other for the adapter to fit your 1-1/4" hitch):
- Curt Pin and Clip # C21410 and # C21510
