Today we're going to take a look at the camera mounting clip for Pop and Lock Custom Locking Tailgate Handle. Now this is going to allow you to upgrade your existing Pop and Lock Custom Locking Tailgate Handle to the newer version. This is going to be a fit for Toyota Tacoma. And if you have that original PAL5300 Pop and Lock Tailgate Lock, this is going to allow you to upgrade that to the PL5400 or PL5500 Custom Locking Tailgate Handle.Now, it lets you mount your rear view camera if you don't already have a factory camera holder. So, if you need to replace that, this is going to allow you to do so. Again, it is going to work for upgrading your PAL5300 to PL5400 or PL5500.
It comes with the bracket and then our two mounting bolts for either side and then two very small bolts or screws to mount our camera to the bracket itself.As far as the dimensions on our bracket, the opening there in the center that's going to measure from inside to inside about 5/8 of an inch at the narrower side and then 3/4 of an inch at the wider side. Again, that's the inner dimension of that opening. The bracket overall is going to measure about 2 1/2 inches from outside edge to outside edge, or really more like 2 3/4 of an inch from outside edge to outside edge. The mounting holes themselves, the larger holes there, those are going to be 2 inches apart center on center. As far as the width from outside edge to outside edge, that's going to be just over an inch, about an inch and 1/8.So, again, this is going to be necessary if you don't already have a factory camera holder and you want to upgrade your Pop and Lock Tailgate Lock.

You may want to add a note to the description that if you already have a backup camera the camera bracket you can use the one already installed
