Spare Tire Clearance of Draw-Tite # 75703 Installed on 2006 Ford E150 Van
Question:
Does the full size spare fit back in after the installation on a 2006 ford e-150
asked by: Scott A
Expert Reply:
As long as your E-150 van has tires that are not larger than the stock size, the Draw-Tite # 75703 should not prevent the spare tire from being stored under the vehicle. When raising the spare tire back into place, you might need to push it toward the front of the vehicle in order to clear the back of the receiver tube, but the tire will still fit neatly under the vehicle.
You might also need the following to complete your towing set-up:
Trailer wiring harness, part # C56020
Ball mount, part # C45010
1-7/8 inch trailer ball, part # 19260
2 inch trailer ball, part # 19247
Locking hitch pin # e98882
I have linked you to the installation instructions and an install video that you might find helpful.
