Hauling a 300LB Motorcycle With a 2009 Subaru Outback Wagon
Question:
Howdy, Will this tow hitch carry a motorcycle rack with a 300 lb motorcycle? The install video only mentions towing bicycle racks and cargo carriers, although the specs claim a 400 lb tow weight!

Yes, the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75560 will allow you to carry your 300lb motorcycle with your 2009 Subaru Outback Wagon. The receiver is rated for a maximum tongue weight of 400lbs and a maximum trailer weight of 4,000lbs. Be sure to verify the towing capacity with a Subaru dealer as your exact trim and options may vary the numbers.
I recommend using a etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Stabilizer # e99007 to secure and remove excess play in the receiver on the Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier # UF48-979033. I recommend the Motorcycle Tie Downs # SS6-SL14 to properly strap down the motorcycle to the carrier.
