Recommended Surge Brake Actuator To Replace Dico Model 60
Question:
My boat trailer currently has a DICO Model 60 actuator. I need to replace it, and Im looking for the appropriate substitute - I dont see the DICO unit on your website. Can you please recommend a suitable alternative? I have drum brakes on my trailer. Please let me know if you require additional information to make a recommendation. Thanks!

To replace the Dico Model 60 actuator on your boat trailer I recommend the Titan Zinc-Plated Brake Actuator - Drum - Multi-Fit Ball - Bolt On - 7,000 lbs # T43397007K you were looking at as it is designed to work with your drum brakes, and will fit your 3" wide tongue perfectly.
The # T43397007K has mounting holes that are 3" apart which should match your current actuator.
If your trailer does not have free backing brakes you will also need a reverse lockout solenoid # T4748800.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
