2 Inch Bike Rack On 1 1/4 Inch Hitch On 2001 Volvo V70
Question:
Have a 2001 Volvo wagon V70, have a bike rack with 2 connection. Do you have a hitch with 2tube? All I saw was 1.25x1.25

For your 2001 Volvo V70 Wagon I suggest the Curt Class 2 Trailer Hitch Receiver Item # C12318. Although it is a 1-1/4" hitch, you will be able to use your 2" accessories and bike rack with the use of a hitch adapter. This hitch provides a tongue rating of 350 pounds. This rating is the amount of weight that will be loaded and forced downward onto the receiver.
Currently for your vehicle there are not any options for a 2" hitch. There could be a couple of factors for this. The sizing of the actual hitch to fit under the vehicle, the mounting points to accommodate carrying/towing more weight, or the manufacturers recommendation for towing capacities are limited.
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Adapter Item # C45785 is a great addition to the Curt Hitch. When using an adapter on hitches, your will be reducing the hitches tongue weight capacity by 50%.
With all of that in mind, if the weight of your 2" bike carrier with the bikes you are looking to transport is 175 pounds or less, you will be able to safely use your bike rack with this system.
