Parts Needed To Haul 800 lb Motorcycle & Trailer With A 2014 Jeep Cherokee
Question:
May need a hitch for a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Limited. Has a V6, 3.2 engine. What hitch do you recommend to haul a 800lb motorcycle on a trailer? Thx so much.

I would recommend getting a Class III 2 inch Hitch Receiver # C13172. This Curt hitch will have plenty of strength to haul your 800lb motorcycle and trailer. It will fit a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk or Non-Trailhawk version. If you have the factory tow package all you need is this trailer connector # HM40975-11933 but if you to not, you will need this vehicle wiring harness # 118605. You'll need a ball mount to haul your trailer. I would say a 4 inch rise ball mount # D-28 would counteract the sag you may have when hauling your heavy bike. Here's a 2 inch # 63845 or an 1-7/8 inch ball # C40002 depending on your coupler size.
I've included videos of these so you can install them yourself!
