Can Tire Chains Be Used On 2018 Ford F-150 with 275/55R20 Tires

Question:

What is the difference between these 2 products? I have an F-150 with 275/55R20 tires and most of the use will be on a dirt road in the winter lots of ice and snow depending on the weather. So need easy to put on and take off and also durability. I already have the V bar chains I bought from you guys, but they are harder to put on and take off and rust. What chain would recommend? Code: TC2533 Code: TC2327

The difference between the two chains you referenced is the Titan Chain # TC2327 is a Class S compatible chain meaning it is designed for vehicle's where clearance is an issue and Class S chains are recommended by the manufacturer.

The Titan Chain # TC2533 is not Class S compatible and in turn uses larger diameter chains. Both tire chains will install the exact same, and would be suitable for use in snow and ice.

I was able to find in the tire chain section of the owner's manual for your 2018 Ford F-150 that tire chains are not recommended due to your truck having 275/55R20 tires that reduce the clearance between the tire and body/suspension components. Using tire chains on your vehicle can cause damage to the body and or suspension components which could lead to serious injury. Due to this I do not recommend using tire chains on your truck.
