How To Stop Hitch Rattle with Hitch Mounted Accessories
Question:
I bought a Curt trailer hitch from etrailer for my 2016 Honda Pilot The service was exceptional and the hitch was easy to install. I do have a problem that I hope you can offer a suggestion. This hitch rattles unmercifully. I did buy the tightening u clamp but the problem persists. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

If you are already using a anti-rattle device such as the etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Stabilizer part # e99007 then the issue is not likely the hitch or shank but rather the actual accessory. If you have a bike rack or cargo carrier you can further secure the load with a stability strap, the Curt Cam Buckle Stabilizing Strap part # 18050.
