Installation of Curt C13397 Class III Trailer Hitch on 2020 Honda CR-V
Question:
Im looking at purchasing Item # C13397. Does eTrailer provide or partner with anyone to do local installations in Albuquerque, NM? Or would a self-installation be the only option? Thanks!

We don't have any specific recommendations for installers in your area, but any trusted mechanic should be able to complete the installation for you in roughly an hour. The installation isn't super-complicated, if you're fairly proficient with hand tools, you should be able to handle the installation yourself, but I've linked to the installation instructions and to an install video that you can look over to see if this is something you'd feel comfortable attempting on your own.
Really the only specialty tool needed is a torque wrench, but most folks can borrow one from a friend or neighbor or the loan a tool service from a local auto parts store.
If you'll be using the hitch for towing purposes, you'll also need a trailer wiring harness like # 118741, a ball mount # C45010 which includes the necessary hitch pin and # 19260 for a 1-7/8 or # 63845 for a 2 inch trailer ball. I've also linked to an install video for the trailer wiring harness.
