Recommended Ball Mount To Carry Bike Rack While Towing Tow Dolly

Hi. Can the Swagman 4 bike carrier for the rv be mounted at the same time as a demco kar kaddy x tow dolly? Thank you.

I may have another option for you but using the Swagman 4 Bike Carrier # S80600 while towing the Demco Kar Kaddy SS Tow Dolly # DM9713045 will not work as the tow dolly will contact the bike rack when you are turning.

The option I recommend is using the Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount with 2" Receiver for Bike Racks and Cargo Carriers # D210 which will allow a bike rack to be carried and still allow you to tow the Demco # DM9713045. This ball mount allows for 350lbs of tongue weight to the receiver, and 750lbs of total tongue weight between the receiver and hitch ball. Since the tow dolly uses a 2" hitch ball I recommend the # 63845.

For a bike rack I recommend Yakima Longhaul 4 Bike Carrier # Y02476 which can accommodate 4 bikes with a weight of 37.5lbs per bike
