Which is Better Weight Distribution Shank Position Slightly Nose High or Slightly Nose Low
Question:
I have an Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control - 12,000 lbs GTW, 1,200lbs TW hitch. I am trying to get clarification if my hitch ball should be just above or just below the level tongue height of my trailer. Holes on the shank do not allow for same height as trailer tongue.

If you have to pick between slightly nose high or slightly nose low I'd recommend the lower option as nose high setups typically are more likely to sway since it lowers tongue weight. Now that said sometimes with a slightly higher setup using unloaded measurements you end up closer to level when the weight of trailer is on the vehicle suspension due to suspension compression so you might try both just to be sure.
