Can Draw-Tite Class III 76227 Hitch Be Used with Sway Control
Question:
Can sway bars be used with this hitch?

It will depend on what you mean by 'sway bar', weight distribution or a friction sway control unit like # 17200
from Curt.
The Draw-Tite # 76227 isn't compatible with weight distribution systems. This will happen when it's determined that the vehicle's undercarriage structure can't handle the extra leverage that the spring bars of a weight distribution system would apply to the vehicle.
However, if you are concerned about trailer sway, you can use a sway control unit without using weight distribution. You'd do this by using your standard ball mount, the sway control unit and a bracket like # RP26003. I've linked to videos explaining how the bracket works and how a similar sway control unit is installed.
