Hand Winch that Can Be Powered In and Out with Power Drill

I want to put a hand winch that can be operated by a cordless drill into my enclosed trailer. It may get used once or twice a year to help me load my 3,000 lb tractor into the trailer if it wont start or... to rescue one of my vehicles. The biggest vehicle I would put in it is about 4,300 lbs. The trailer sits very low but still... I need help getting it up the ramp. I do understand that I could use a snatch block to double the capacity of the winch. Which one do you recommend?

For a trailer winch that can have a power drill attached to it so that it can be powered in or out you'd need a worm gear winch like the part # DL11001. Then for a 50 foot long winch cable the part # DL24104 would be a great option as well.

To drive the hex drive of the Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch #DL11001 does not require a special tool to do so. What you need is just a 5/8 socket which you most likely already have and you'd be set.
