Transmission Cooler for 2018 Ford Escape Towing Trailer
Question:
Would a transmission cooler be required for a class 2 hitch installation on a 2018 Ford Escape with the 1.5 turbo motor. Would some type of load leveling or had shocks be required.

Transmission coolers are a great idea for basically any vehicle that is going to be doing some towing to allow it to live the longest since heat is the number one killer of transmissions. The Derale part # D13503 would do a really great job keeping the temperatures down.
We don't have any suspension enhancement kits that fit your vehicle either and weight distribution should not be used on a Class II hitch so the transmission cooler would be your best option.
