Outriggers for Use With Lippert Manual Pull-Out Double Step
Question:
What is the total width from end to end off the slide rod. My outrigger, on the trailer that the stairs will attach to, goes down 7 inches and are 26 inches apart. I want to know if the slide rod will interfere with the closing of the stairs. I know that the total width of the stairs is 25-3/8 inch but I noticed the slide rod sticks out a little more.

I can tell you that based on the dimensions you gave, the 25-1/2" wide x 9-3/4" tall deep mounting bracket of the Lippert Manual Pull-Out Step for RVs - Double # LC432682 is not going to work with your outrigger. The reason being it is too wide for these steps.
What you will have to do in order to install them is use the Lippert Outriggers for Manual RV Steps # LC301704.
I have added a link to a video review for you to check out as well of the Lippert Double Step # LC432682.
