Comparing Hitch Options for a 2016 Subaru Outback Wagon That Mount Under and Behind Bumper

Looking for trailer hitch for 2016 subaru outback. Looks like there is a model that mounts above the exhaust system and one that mounts behind the bumper. Is the bumper version easier ti install? Do they have similar strength/capacity?

In regards to a 2016 Subaru Outback Wagon, you have two options which are ones that mount behind the bumper like the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76227 and ones that mount under the bumper like the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 75673. The options that mount behind the bumper are going to take more time to install but they also provide a nicer look because most of the hitch is hidden. The weight capacities between these two models are the same.
I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76227 because you only have to install the hitch once whereas you will be looking at it everyday.
