Recommended 4 way and 7 way Connector for 2013 Toyota Sienna
Question:
Hi, Im looking at wiring for a 2013 AWD Sienna. I need a 7 pin, but not for electronic brakes, but to charge the battery in the trailer while we drive and maybe for other reasons I would need to check. Im sure Ill want wiring for a flat 4 too. Should I get the flat 4 kit and then add what I need for the 7 pin, or whats the best way to do this? If it matters a T@B is what I need the 7 pin for. Thanks.

We have just what you're looking for. You'll want to start with the Tekonsha T-One # 118498, which will put a 4 way connector on your 2013 Toyota Sienna. Once you've installed that harness you'll want to use the # ETBC7L which will install a 7 way connector on your Sienna that will also have a plug for a 4 way connector, so it's great if you're going to tow different trailers. The ETBC7L does not have a brake controller wire, so if you think there is a chance you'll ever need to tow a trailer with brakes, you'll want to use the # ETBC7 instead; you can leave the brake controller wire disconnected until you need it but it might be worth considering in this case as well.
I've linked some installation videos that you may want to have a look at, as well.
