This is a known issue, as the trailer running lamp circuit on the 2019 GM trucks doesn't send enough voltage to power the camera system. The folks at ASA Electronics recently came out with an adapter, part # VGR64VR that splices in behind the camera to provide a steady current for the camera system to operate normally.
