Should Trailer Tires be Inflated to Max PSI Figure

Question:

The tire is rated for 105 PSI maximum. Is it recommended to inflate the tire to maximum rating regardless of the weight you are carrying?

Expert Reply:

Yes, with trailer tires you do need to always keep the tire inflated to it's max PSI rating to ensure you get the full weight capacity of it and minimize heat build up which might cause premature failure.

So to ensure you get the full weight capacity of the # AM30859 you'd need to inflate it to 105 PSI when cold.
