Will Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount with 2 Receiver Work with Cargo Carriers
Question:
If I used this with a small cargo carrier while pulling a pop up camper would it work? I mean would I still be able to turn without the carrier making contact with the camper or battery box and propane tank etc.

Yes, you could definitely use the Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount with 2" Receiver # D210 with a cargo carrier and your pop-up camper. So long as you know you have the turning clearance (which depends on the size of your cargo carrier) that is exactly what this product is designed for. The ball mount is 12-1/2" from hitch pin hole to hitch ball mount and 7-1/2" to the receiver pin.
This ball mount does come with a pin and clip but if you want to lock it to your hitch I recommend Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # e98880. For a hitch ball you will need 1-7/8" Hitch Ball # C40002 or 2" Hitch Ball # 63845, depending on the size of your trailer's coupler.
Then for a cargo carrier I recommend checking out the budget-friendly Curt Cargo Carrier # C18145.
I have added links to a couple video reviews for you to take a look at as well.
