Using Hanger Replacement Kit # AP216-H202 to Replace Similar Kit with Shorter Front Hangers

I’m in need of new hangers on my trailer. I have measured the hangers and have found this to be real close. The only difference I’ve found in this AP216-H202 and mine are the front hangers. I’ve measured mine at 4” and you have this listed at 4 1/2”. How will this affect the suspension on the trailer? My front hangers are worn as well so it is hard to get an exact measurement. Would this be a suitable replacement kit?

The Tandem-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit for 2" Slipper Springs # AP216-H202 has all of the components at the proper dimensions to allow it to have the suspension sit as level as possible and perform at it's best. This kit will function well to replace what you have. Most likely your current front hangers are not ideal and this kit would allow your suspension to perform just as well if not better.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
