Since this is a new installation, and some of the functions are working, there may be a couple quick and easy fixes for this. I am assuming that all of the light functions are normal on the tow vehicle, so you'd want to start by checing the fuses associated with the towing functions on your tow vehicle. If you haven't used a T-connector harness, you'll have independent fuses for the towing functions on your vehicle. I won't be able to tell you exactly which ones they are, but you should be able to find them in your owner's manual.
If you do have some fuses blown, you'll need to replace them, but we'll also want to try to figure out why they were blown in the first place. The likely source is some sort of overload coming back from the trailer when it is connected. You'll want to check the trailer wires- make sure everything is grounded properly and that all of the wires that have the functions that you don't have are damage free.
If the fuses are clear and not showing any signs of failure, please let me know what kind of wiring harness you've installed, as well as the vehicle you're installing it on and I can help you try to isolate the issue.
