Availability of Roof Vent for 13" x 13" Rough Roof Opening

Does anyone make a roof vent for a rough opening of 13inch x`13? we are trying to repair and emergency response trailer and not only is the rough cut hole 13x13 but they built an aluminum frame for it so increasing the hole would be difficult. Its a 2008 Featherlite trailer. Not sure on the model though.

All of our standard roof vents, such as the Ventline Ventadome # V2092SP-28, are designed to install into a 14" x 14" or 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" rough opening. This is the standard vent size for trailers and RVs so I'm not aware of one that is designed for a 13" square opening.

Unfortunately your only option is going to be to try and expand the existing cutout on the trailer to accommodate a new vent like this. This will also make it easier to replace the unit down the line or even upgrade to an AC unit at a later date since they typically require the same opening size.

We do have many types of RV vent items you can see on the linked page including manual and fan-powered models, however, none measures 10 x 10. The vast majority of RV roof vents in use are 14 x 14-inches, like #V2092SP-28, and fit into roof openings…

The Ventline Roof Vent #V2092SP-28 is the standard size that requires a rough cut opening on the roof of your trailer of 14-1/4 inch by 14-1/4 inch. If you have a 13-3/4 inch square opening you'd need to open yours up a bit to get this to fit.

Essentially you need to measure the height of the garnish from above the lip to the very top. If you can't find one that fits exactly you can get a garnish that's too large and cut it down to size.
