Electric Trailer Brakes for 3,500 lb Axle on Forest River Trailer
Question:
I need to replace electric trailer brakes on a Forest River cargo trailer. The axles are 2004 Alko 3500 lb torsion type, with a 92.5” hub face, 68.45” bracket center, and a 10” E-brake type the Alko part number is 264971. Do you carry the electric brake assemblies for this type axle? Where would I find it on your website? Thank you.

Thanks for all of that information and we have exactly what you need to replace the trailer brakes on your Forest River trailer.
What you need are the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Assembly - 10" - Left Hand # 23-468 and Right Hand # 23-469. These brakes are rated for 3,500 lb axles and come with the mounting hardware so you do not have to get it separately like you would with many other brake assemblies. They are also self-adjusting, which makes using them much simpler than using manual adjustment brakes.
