While we do have front mount hitches for your 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500 Z71 the Draw-Tite # 65050 that you referenced is not a fit. It is for the 2500HD and 3500HD models.

For an '05 Silverado 1500 we have the Curt # 31302 for an LD or the Draw-Tite # 65028 for an HD.
