Reinstalling the Bumper on 2017 Subaru Outback With Hidden Trailer Hitch
Question:
2017 Subaru Outback with p/nc 13410 Foam cushion fit problems. The hitch moves the bumper back by the thickness of the mounting bracket. It appears this is resulting in an interference problem so that the bumper cover plastic /facia can not be attached properly since everything is pushed back by a quarter inch or so so things dont line up. Remedy?

You certainly are not alone with the re-installation of the bumper fascia when installing the Curt Trailer Hitch # C13410 or the similar Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 76227 on your 2017 Subaru Outback.
What has been recommended to help resolve this issue, both in the linked installation video and then by one of our customers in a review (see accompanying cut out) is to make sure you begin by first lining up the section directly under the tail lights is a big help when putting the bumper fascia back on your Outback. Doing this will help engage the rest of the fascia to line up correctly.
