Installing 7-Way in 2016 Ford Explorer
Question:
As I was reading about the 7 pin connector being under the drivers knee, I seen in a video, that makes hooking a brack controller up easier. My question is on the other end, is there a place to hook the socket up, mine currently has the 4 flat connector. Is it just a matter of pulling that apart and putting the 7 pin in, that seems to easy.

Installing a 7-way trailer wiring connector on your 2016 Ford Explorer is pretty easy actually. All you need is the part # 118272 which plugs easily into a port under the rear of your vehicle. I attached a picture of what the connector looks like as well as an install video for this kit on a similar 2016 Ford Explorer.
