Expert Reply:
The Hopkins 7-Way RV Style Connector with Molded Cable - Trailer End - 8' Long - RV Standard # H20046 will connect to your 6 wires function for function. Many trailers will not have the reverse light function, so it is likely that you have a ground yet it is simply a different color wire on your trailer. If you check the functions using a circuit tester like # PTW2993 it is likely the red (auxiliary/backup) wire will not be used on this harness and the blue wire will only have function when you hit the manual override lever. If you do have reverse lights on your trailer then you will simply connect the white ground wire of your pigtail to your trailer frame where your trailer battery negative terminal also connects to the trailer frame.
I've attached a trailer wiring diagram to assist.
