For your 2008 Lexus LX570 the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers - Toyota and Lexus # 3040-P will plug into the factory harness located underneath the dash, to the left of the steering column, taped to another harness near the emergency brake pedal. This is only if you have the factory 7-way. I've attached a video of this installation (one of a Curt connector) on a couple of Toyota's which have the same connection location.
If you don't already have the factory 7-way, then you will either need the wiring kit # ETBC7 to hardwire your controller or if you have an aftermarket 7-way the # 5506. If you don't have a brake controller yet, I recommend the Prodigy P3 # 90195 which is an easy to use option that has an LCD screen to give you the information needed for operation.
I've attached videos to assist.
