Trailer Hitch Mount Cargo Carrier for a 2015 Honda Civic Sedan
Question:
The 2015 Honda Civic LX Sedan is rated here for a Class 1 Hitch. What would be the recommended Cargo Carrier be, with thoughts of going Camping?

We have several hitch mounted cargo carriers that are rated for use on a Class I hitch such as those available for the 2015 Honda Civic like the popular Curt hitch # C11391. At 19 x 47 inches the Curt carrier # C18110 is the larger one available. Also since the Civic sits low to the ground the Curt carrier # C18110 would be my first choice for you. This carrier has an angled shank to give you better ground clearance. You will also need the stabilizer strap # 18050.
The Curt carrier offers about 6 square feet of cargo space, if you just measure length and width, but more considering height as a factor as well. That is a good amount of space for various camping necessities such as a cooler and other gear. You could also mount a bag such as # e98990 to the carrier to protect your gear from the elements. I have linked video reviews of both products for you. I have also included a link to our camping and hiking product main page. There is a lot of neat stuff in there! Check it out.
