Recommended Snow Tire Chains for 2000 Chevy Suburban LS with 275/55r20 Tires
Question:
PLEASE HELP: I have a 2000 Chevy Suburban LS and need to know if I should use chains or cables for the rare time I go in snow in the mountains. My tires are 275/55 R20. Would these chains or cables go on the back tires or front?. Thank you. What brand chains or cables should I use?.

For your 2000 Chevy Suburban LS, you can use tire chains on your 275/55r20 tires and can only be used on the rear tires according to your owners manual. The Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains # TC2533 are what I recommend for your trips to the mountains. They are easy to install and color coded. They will provide you with good traction and won't be too bulky to create a rough ride. You will still be limited to 30 mph when using the chains. I've attached a couple videos to assist.
