Longer Ball Mount Recommendation for Adding Distance Between Hitch Ball and Bumper

I have a 2inch class 111 receiver with 2ball on 2016 Dodge Charger sxt my ball is 1inch from my bumper-How far from my car do I want my ball?

There isn't a specific distance you want to have between the bumper of a vehicle and the hitch ball, but in general you'll want more than an inch. This will give you additional leeway when hitching up the trailer so that you don't slam the coupler of the trailer into the bumper as your backing up and will give you a bit more clearance.
I'd recommend going with a longer ball mount like the Brophy # BM20 which is 13-1/4" from center of hitch pin hole to center of ball hole. For a 2 inch ball that fits this ball mount we have the part # 40038 as well.
