Is Torque Wrench Needed When Installing Draw Tite Hitch # 76025
Question:
I do not have the professional tools to measure that the exact torque were used to tighten the nuts. How can I can make sure that I tighten the nuts with enough torque? Is it possible I can break the nuts in attempt to tighten them enough? Thanks,

Expert Reply:
You really need to use a torque wrench when installing a trailer hitch like the Draw Tite part # 76025. We have some you could order with the hitch like with part number # ALL944001 or local auto parts stores will often times let you borrow them as well.
There's no other safe way to determine the correct amount of torque needed.
