Comparing OEM and Aftermarket Trailer Hitches for 2014 Honda Odyssey
Question:
76025 Draw Tite 2014 Honday Odyssey Touring Elite Hitch - how does this compare to the OEM hitch offered by Honda. We like the way that the Honda hitch tucks up under the vehicle. Thanks for your help.

Draw-Tite 2-inch Class III hitch # 76025 and the other hitch options shown on the linked page are all confirmed to fit your 2014 Honda Odyssey. I do want to point out that installation of this particular hitch will be more involved than for the similar model # 75270. This other 2-inch model will take less time to install, costs less and actually has a higher weight capacity rating. I would highly recommend this model instead of part # 76025. The linked install video shows this item on a 2014 Odyssey. The hitches includes all required mounting hardware.
Generally an aftermarket hitch will sit a bit closer to the ground than an OEM type. When we installed hitch # 75270 on your same model year Odyssey we found that the top of the receiver opening was 12-1/2 inches above ground. This will vary based on passenger load, cargo load, tire condition and tire inflation, please note.
Aftermarket hitches usually offer higher capacity than OEM types and they also usually cost a lot less than factory- or dealer-installed types.
