Adjustable Ball Mount Recommendation for a 2007 Ford Expedition

I have a 2007 Expedition 4x4 with Class III hitch. What should the be as I have a boat and rent trailers to move items.

With ball mount # 2753, you can use hitch ball # 19260 (1-7/8 inch diameter), # 19247 (2 inch diameter), or # 63847 (2-5/16 inch diameter).

To determine the right size ball mount and ball, you would normally take some measurements as outlined in our ball mount FAQ article which I have linked for you to view. Since you will be towing more than one type of trailer, a good investment would be an adjustable ball mount.

The Curt multi-ball adjustable ball mount, part # D900, covers all three ball sizes, each with a different capacity. It has a maximum drop of 5-3/4 inches, and a maximum rise of 5-3/4 inches.
