Can the Thule T2 Pro XT Bike Rack be Used with the EcoHitch on a 2016 Subaru Outback Wagon
Question:
Hello, Im interested in the Torqlift EcoHitch for my 2016 Subaru Outback. I already have a Thule T2 Pro 2-bike rack. Is this rack compatible with this hitch, and/or will I need to modify the stinger in any way? Thanks

When we installed the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7601 on a similar 2016 Subaru Outback Wagon we found that from the center of the hitch pin hole to the rearmost edge of the bumper measured 2-1/2 inches. Since the Thule T2 Pro XT, like part # TH83JV, measures 5 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the bike rack when it is folded, you will be able to easily use your bike rack to it's full potential with this trailer hitch installed.
Please note that if you have the T2 Pro XT bike rack version that has a 1-1/4 inch shank, you will also need a hitch reducer sleeve, like part # HT02, so that it is compatible with the EcoHitch.
