Comparing the Weight of Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution Systems # C17501 and # C17500
Question:
I am curious if there is a weight difference from c17501 and c17500. I know its rated for more towing weight but the product itself. Is it a lot heavier? Thanks,

The Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System # C17501 has a shipping weight of 100 lbs and the Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System # C17500 has a shipping weight of 112 lbs. Their weight is similar but you would be able to tell a difference.
Keep in mind that when choosing a Weight Distribution (WD) system that you will want to choose one based off of the Total Tongue Weight (TTW) of your setup. This includes the Tongue Weight (TW) of your fully loaded and ready-to-go trailer along with the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your 2014 Dodge Durango. You will then want to choose a WD system that has a TW range that your TTW falls in the middle of.
Another thing to note is that a properly loaded trailer will have a TW that is 10-15% of the weight of the loaded trailer.
