Troubleshooting Brake Light Signal Not On Trailer Connector
Question:
Have 6 pin round connector on rv that was wired incorrectly but I corrected wires. Put connector in that converts 6 pin round to 4 pin flat but dont get brake lights. Both turn signals, flashers and parking lights work. I check my green and yellow wires and no voltage when brakes are pressed but get voltage when blinkers are turn on. Checked fuses couldnt find any bad. The blue wire gets power when brakes pressed. Any ideas? Thanks

You most likely have an RV that has separate wiring and needs to be combined prior to your 6-way. I recommend using the Roadmaster Brite-Lite Wiring Converter # RM-732 to take these separate functions and combine them to correct your wiring for your trailer connector. I've attached a video to assist. Your other functions of your 6-way will just bypass the converter.
