Taillight Converter Recommendation for Adapting Tow Vehicle Separate Wiring to Trailer Combined
Question:
We have a kubota RTV utility vehicle that we use to tow a trailer. Occasionally we have to go out on the road for short distances. The trailer has the standard combination lights that use the same circuit for brake and turn signals. The utility vehicle has separate circuits for turn and stop. What type of converter do you recommend?

Expert Reply:
We have exactly what you need. The signal converter you need is the part # RM-732. This will convert taillight signal from separate to combined. You will need to wire it in to either the trailer's wiring or the RTV's trailer wiring so that the two are compatible. The converter is labeled as to how it gets wire up. Basically the only circuit that bypasses the converter is the running light circuit since it doesn't need converting.
