Available Wiring Adapters to Join Vehicle 7-Way to Trailer 6-Way Round Connector

need an adaptor to connect a female 6 pin, round connector on my trailer to a 7 blade pin connector on my 2006 Silverado truck

We offer several trailer wiring adapters that can convert a 7-way blade connector on the vehicle to a 6-way round pin connector on the trailer. You can see all of these on the linked page.
These include solid adapters like # HM47570 as well as cabled types like # HM47053 and # HM47083. I recommend a cabled adapter since it will provide strain relief and make it easier to do the connections.
You need to note that a 6-way can be configured in either of two ways. Please refer to the linked article on trailer wiring. The center pin in 6-way trailer wiring can be assigned to carry either the 12V power circuit or the trailer brake circuit. Usually the center pin handles 12V power but if your trailer uses the center pin for brakes then you will need to use adapter # HM47085.
You can apply 12V power to the trailer center pin to confirm which function it carries.
