Hard Wiring Options for a 7-Way Harness on Trailer and Vehicle Ends
Question:
Do you offer a wiring harness that would include the compatible plug and open ends to wire it into an incompatible vehicle? Thank you

Expert Reply:
We do have 7-way wiring harnesses both for the trailer and vehicle sides that will enable you to splice in the appropriate wiring.
Hopkins has their 7-Pole and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Sockets with Mounting Bracket and Wiring, part # HM40975-11998, which comes with a 7-way plug with open wires that you can use to splice in all of the appropriate wiring.
The 7-Way Molded Trailer Plug with Junction Box, part # HS381-9000, will let you splice in your wiring to the junction box and provide a 7-way harness for you to connect to your tow vehicle.
I have attached some demonstration videos and some helpful article on towing and wiring.
