A high-low adapter like part # RM-048-10 may give you the right drop you need for your motorcycle and carrier, but it is only designed for flat-towing and when you use an adapter it will reduce the weight capacity of the trailer hitch by 50 percent.

It sounds like your carrier may be sitting too high for you to lift the motorcycle on to so I do have a solution for you. I recommend a motorcycle carrier that has a ramp like part # e98873. This lightweight carrier weighs around 58-lbs and measures 76-inches long, 8-1/2 inches wide and has a 39-3/8 inch long ramp. The carrier has a 500-lb weight capacity and is designed to fit 2-inch trailer hitch receivers.

Another carrier we offer is the Ultra-Fab Motorcycle Carrier, part # UF48-979033. This is a steel carrier that has a 500-lb weight capacity. This carrier measures 80-inches long and has a 39-inch ramp. This carrier is also designed to fit 2-inch receivers. This carrier weighs 50 pounds.

You want to make sure you do not exceed the weight capacity of your trailer hitch. You need to add the weight of the carrier to the motorcycle weight when considering weight placed on the hitch.
