Can Reverse Lock Out Solenoid be Left On Titan Model 60 If Never Needed
Question:
Recently purchased Titan actuator model 60 for drum brakes. I do not plan on using the Soleniod, do I use the orfice or remove it , and attach the brake line into cylinder ??

If you never plan to use the reverse lock out solenoid that comes with some of the Titan Model 60 actuators you could remove it if you wanted to, but if you never wired it up you could just leave it on there and it wouldn't ever activate or cause issue. The solenoid is normally open so it wouldn't close on you at any point if never wired up.
If you are purchasing a new coupler, I recommend simply getting one without the lockout solenoid like # T43397007K for example because it is one less thing to be concerned about if you know you won't use it.
