How to Determine What Wires Get Run to Curt Wiring Harness # 56201
Question:
The instructions that came with this do not specify which wires to connect to. There are 3-4 wires per side going to the tail lights. Can you specify which wires to use on the left and right colours ?. thanks

We don't have wire color info for your 2009 Audi A4, but to install the Curt Wiring Harness # 56201 all you would need is a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 so that you can test the function of each of the wires so that you can wire it up correctly to your vehicle.
With this harness you would also want the battery wiring kit part # 55151 to power the unit.
