2013 Ford Fusion Best Bike Rack Options
Question:
Other rack manufacturers claim that 2013 Ford Fusion bumper is not strong enough to support 2 bikes, and state that none of their racks are suitable for that vehicle. I have a 2013 Fusion, and need a rack. Is yours suitable?

I have a solution for carrying bikes with your 2013 Ford Fusion, but there are no trunk mounted options that have been confirmed to fit your vehicle.
Instead I would recommend a hitch and hitch mounted bike rack. Hitches provide basically the best attachment point for bike racks. They are more secure than a trunk option and don't touch any painted surfaces. And they don't affect gas mileage or require lifting a heavy bike up on the roof of a vehicle like a roof option.
For a hitch for your vehicle you would want the Draw Tite hitch part # 24897.
The Swagman XTC2, part # S64670 is one of the most popular racks because it's so easy to use, and because the rack has an angled shank that would raise the bike rack up by three inches providing additional ground clearance. Because of that, this is the rack I'd recommend for you. The rack includes an anti-rattle hitch bolt, but a combination anti-rattle hitch lock/cable lock is available separately as part # S64031.
