Where Does a Trailer Wiring Harness Ground on a 2012 Chevy Traverse
Question:
Wire harness instructions say ground wire white install on passenger side when video says left side

The white ground wire is bundled with the yellow and brown side of trailer wiring harness # 118450 and that is the side that plugs into the left (driver's side) tail lights. The instructions are a little confusing because it doesn't actually say that you ground the white wire on the right. The step for grounding the white wire comes after routing the green wire connectors to the right side though so it makes it seem like the white wire should be on the right side.
But the instructions are set up that way because grounding the white wire is the last step and they seem to just have omitted a phrase stating to go back to the left side to ground the white wire. I have linked a video showing installation for you. Our installer just grounds the wire on the left side while he's over there before moving on to the rest of the installation.
