Recommended Hitch Mounted Carrier With Ramp For Mower And Rototiller On 2011 Toyota Tacoma
Question:
I have a 2011 Toyota Tacoma Std Cab Truck and want to haul a Huskavarna Rototiller or a Snapper 28 inch Riding mower on the carrier but not at the same time. I know you sell carriers that can carry the weight but do they have the room and a ramp to drive the Tiller or the Mower onto the carrier? Do you have one that will work for my needs. My receiver is a 2 in receiver that I bought from you last summer. You should have a record of it in your computer Thanks....

We do have just what you are looking for.
I recommend the Flint Hill Goods Carrier With Ramp, part # FHG77ZR. This carrier fits receiver openings and has a weight capacity of 500 lbs. The carrier measures 50 long x 30 wide x 6-1/2 tall. This carrier has a ramp as you mentioned. The ramp measures 28 inches wide and is 48 inches long. When folded down the distance form the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest edge of the carrier is 14 inches. This carrier comes with an anti-rattle device and the hitch pin and clip, however, I recommend upgrading to the # 63232 locking hitch pin for better anti-rattle effectiveness.
To secure your rototiller or mower to the carrier I recommend the Erickson Ratchet Straps, part # EM34415.
You will want to check your owner's manual or with your dealership to make sure you do not exceed the tongue weight capacity for your Tacoma.
