Removing Seized Hardware in a Semi Trailer Floor
Question:
I have some old semi-trailer flooring that I am trying to remove from the metal support I-beam braces. The bit size is a T40 Star Bit, I used a low quality bit and the points on the bit just bent and snapped off. Do you have this size bit? Have you had previous customers have any success removing these old bolts from semi-trailer floors?

We do not have that particular size bit but I can tell you that you will likely need to spray some penetrating oil on the old hardware and let it soak for at least 15 minutes. This will help to break up the seized hardware.
If you still have trouble after that then the only other option would be to drill out the hardware.
