Upgrading from a 14 inch Trailer Wheel to a 15 inch Trailer Wheel

Question:

The rims on my travel trailer are 14X5.5JJ, I want to go with a bigger rim like a 15 inch. There is plenty of room to do this. Is this possible and if so what size rim do I need to go with. My reasoning is to get a more ply tire for safety reasons. My 14 inch rims have a 5 bolt pattern with the center hole being 3 inches and my bolt holes being 4.5 inches my question is do they make a 15 inch rim to fit my trailer. Thanks

So you have 14 inch rim that has a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern and are looking to go to a 15 inch rim. For that you would want the part # AM32424 as it has a ST205/75R15 tire mounted to it which has a 1,820 lbs at 50 psi capacity.

The dimensions of this are 8.1 inches in width and 27.3 inches in diameter. You will need to compare that to your trailer to determine if it would fit.

I attached a review video for this wheel/tire for you to check out as well.
